These guides exist so families can understand what comes next. This is how we write them, review them and keep them current.
Why these guides exist
To explain clearly, in each family's language, how international transfers and funeral arrangements usually work, what to ask and which documents to gather. They are general information: they don't replace the advice of a licensed professional or the instructions of the providers and authorities in each case.
Who writes them
They're written by the Eternimax team, drawing on our experience coordinating international cases with families and providers. We sign them as an organization: every guide is the work of the whole team.
Accuracy
Before we publish a guide, we check every fact against its official source. If a source changes or we find an error, we update the guide and its date.
Sources
We prioritize official and primary sources: government agencies, published regulations, consulates and international bodies. We link every source so you can check it. When a requirement changes by country or by case, we say so instead of presenting it as a rule for everyone.
Updates
We review every guide at least every six months, and sooner if an official source changes. Each guide shows when it was last updated and when the next update is due.
What we don't do
- We don't publish names or details that could identify a family.
- We don't publish figures we can't verify.
- We don't promise timelines, costs or outcomes: they're determined by the providers and authorities in each case.
- We don't compare or mention other companies.
- We don't present Eternimax as a provider of regulated services: Eternimax coordinates between the parties, and licensed or authorized providers perform the services.
Languages
We publish the guides in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Chinese.
Corrections
If you find an error or outdated information, email us at info@eternimax.com with the subject “Correction”. We'll review it and, where appropriate, update the guide and its review date.
